MotoGears manufactures a complete 5-speed replacement transmission for the Honda CR500, designed to provide maximum strength, reliability and precise shifting.

The complete transmission is manufactured from high-quality case-hardened steel and professionally heat-treated for maximum durability. It includes the mainshaft, countershaft, all transmission gears, washers and snap rings required for assembly.

Individual gears and transmission components are also available separately.

TECHNICAL COMPATIBILITY

The MotoGears complete transmission is manufactured according to the 1988–2001 Honda CR500 specification and is a direct replacement for these models.

The complete transmission can also be installed in earlier Honda CR500 models, including 1984–1987, with some additional modifications and replacement of related components.

Individual gear compatibility may vary depending on the model year and transmission version.

For installation in 1984–1987 models, or for compatibility of individual gears, please contact us before ordering. We will be happy to advise you on the correct configuration and required components.
